NIEVES CALVO
Founder and creative director of The Intangible Land, is an architect and interior designer focused on high-end residential and hospitality projects. Her work emphasizes attention to detail and sustainability, finding the perfect balance between new trends and timeless design.
Currently living and working between Miami and Madrid, she has collaborated with firms such as ICRAVE—one of the top interior design firms in the industry, with clients including JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Sapphire—and HBA, the world's leading hospitality design firm, gaining experience with brands such as Ritz-Carlton and Hilton, among others.
In 2018, she moved to New York City to join the teams of Enrique Norten and Andrea Steele Architecture, where the projects she contributed to received multiple awards, including recognition for excellence in design by the New York City Public Design Commission.
She studied and worked in Madrid (Spain) and Bordeaux (France), participating in international projects with some of the most renowned firms in the field—projects that received honors such as the 2018 FAD Interiorisme Award and a nomination for the Mies van der Rohe Awards.
